Preliminary Breath Test (PBT)

TAKING PBTS HERE IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT, AND YOU CAN BE REFUSED.

PBT cost is $2 per test and $1 per tube.

If you fail your PBT, the fee increases drastically.

After 1st Offense, PBT is $10 a test

After 2nd Offense, PBT is $20 a test

After 3rd Offense, you may no longer take PBT’s here.

PBTs are administered daily between 6 a.m and 6:15 a.m.

Pistol Purchase Permits

Permits are free and are good for 30 days from date of issue.

If you have a valid CPL or are purchasing from a license FFL dealer, you do not need a permit.

Applications are normally processed Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Clerical Fees

• Report copies are $3 for the first page and $1 for every additional page
• Photographs (digital image) are $1 per page
• FOIA requests have a separate fee schedule — please ask for details
