Preliminary Breath Test (PBT):

You must obtain prior permission from the Police Chief before taking a PBT at our office.

Cheboygan County District Court ordered PBT cost is $1 per test and $1 per tube.

All other PBTS are $5 per test and $1 per tube.

*Note that PBTs are administered Monday-Friday between the hours of 8a.m. and 9 a.m. or at 6 a.m. any day of the week.  

*TAKING PBTS HERE IS A PRIVILEGE NOT A RIGHT AND YOU CAN BE REFUSED*

Pistol Purchase Permits:

Permits are free and offered only to Tuscarora Township Residence.  All other Cheboygan County residents must go to the Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department.  Permit is good for 10 days from date of issue.  So if your not going to buy your pistol within 10 days, DO NOT APPLY FOR A PERMIT.

These applications are normally processed Monday-Friday between 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M.

Clerical Fees:

Report copies are $3 for the first page and $1 for every additional page.

Photographs are $1 each.
